Wedding Photo Shoot During Earthquake
I did my first wedding photo shoot in the beginning of this month. It went by smooth and safe despite a little rain. Thank god. Imagine you are doing a photo shoot and everything start shaking… Things start to fall and the church you are in is falling apart… Scary right?
Chinese couple getting married in Sichuan, China
A Chinese couple went through this terrible experience 2 weeks ago during the deadly earthquake in China. Their shocking wedding pictures were published on the Internet recently. The photographer was very professional because he didn’t stop taking photo even though he was brought to the ground by the quake and falling debris.
Everything collapsed, but atleast none of them were hurt
Picture taken when photographer was on the ground

Things falling and lots of dust.
Dusty after the quake.
Bride gets up from the ground.
Bride looks at fallen building.
People figuring out what had happened.
The beautiful church was cracked.
Friends trying to get help after the quake.
Failed to find help, they began to escape the area.
They were shocked and scared.
Photographer and his equipment.
Hard to breathe in the dust.
Church before and after.

Oh my gosh! These pictures are devastating and awesomely shot all at the same time. I just can’t believe that bride, and the others, endured such a day. Wow, and everyday brides pray to not have a rainy day… it’s all about perspective.

So amazing that none of these people were hurt. But you can see in their eyes that they will still be scarred forever. Thanks for sharing these!

You are right. I think it would be a memorable experience for them for life.
The news reported that the photographer actually laid flat on the ground one hand covering his head and the other hand taking pictures and thought he was going to die.

I’m sure those people will never forget what happened to them, especially it was to be a happy and memorable one that turn out to be a tragic event.

Hi iCalvyn,
They actually started taking the photo before the earthquake, and the earthquake happened during their photo shoot.
