Hi. My name is Ronald Su, also known as Ron So. (Su and So are the same last name in Chinese, just the difference between Mandarin and Cantonese) I am currently in my mid 20s living in Vancouver, Canada. I also consider myself as an entrepreneur.
My “Entrepreneur” Story
While I was going to university I had 2 part-time jobs. One of them was a sales person position for a Fido cell phone service retailer. Another one was a cook position at a busy restaurant on Robson Street.
I became tired of working for someone else even though I didn’t really work much. I often developed better ways of doing things but still had to follow the old “stupid” ways because the managers said so. I wasn’t quite happy but I had to work for the money.
Since then, I told myself to never work for somebody else. I tried online affiliate marketing and selling stuff on eBay. But they never got anywhere. Slowly I gave up on making money online and put out my “entrepreneur fire”.
After graduating from university, I tried to look for a job like everybody else. Months passed by and I still couldn’t find a decent job.
Long story short, I later started a business accidentally. I worked hard to build the business and did everything possible to make it happen.
The business started to generate cash flow and the list of clients continued to grow. But I wasn’t happy. I was totally consumed by my business. I lost my focus. I lost my passion. I became very stressed out.
