My Theory About Love

When you are upset about your relationship, try to think of why you are falling in love during the first place. What do you want from it? Just like choosing your favorite icecream bar at the 7-Eleven. What kind of feelings do you want that icecream bar to give you? If it is giving you too much chocolate and too much bitterness, are you going to finish eating it?

Love & Ice Cream Bars

I believe most of you will not finish eating it. Same as love, if your relationship is giving you the feelings other than what you want, you should stop it from going further. Holding on an unsuccessful relationship will make you angry, insecure, and sick. It is also true with long distance love as well. Why waste your time loving someone far away? Life is short, anything that involves waiting is not worth it. Unless waiting will give you the ultimate return like holding a big amount of blue chip stocks.

Closing The Door

The ultimate downside for dragging a relationship is that you will close the door for others. Your potential perfect match will turn away because you are already in a relationship. Back to the the icecream bar example. If you are struggling and trying to finish that bitter bar, you will limit your time for trying a different bar which may eventially give you that sweet taste you are liking for.

The Conclusion

I am not trying to seperate people. But living life and enjoying life is our ultimate goal. If anything blocks our way to that goal, it should be removed immediately. Why wait? The next time you are upset about your relationship, try to think with yourself being most important. Think about why you are crying instead of smiling, and your mind will be cleared from obstacles.

Sunshine Nation 2008 Fahrenheit Partner Search Contest

Sunshine Nation 2008 application has ended a week ago now and all the applicants should be contacted for interview now. If you are accepted in the the 2008 Sunshine Nation contest, you will know that soon. Before everything else, a new contest has just popped up.

Say Bye Bye To My Asus Eee PC

It’s very sad but I had to let my Asus Eee PC go. It was a very fun tiny ultra-portable computer, but it was just basically collecting dust since I had my Macbook Pro. I have to admit the truth that I favor my Mac 1000 times more than the Eee PC. Today I have sold it to someone else and hopefully he will appriciate the hard work I’ve put into it (Installing and optimizing Windows XP). I will always miss you…

Do You Believe In UFO?

I don’t know why, there are lots of information coming from the media about UFOs recently. I saw the UFO hunters on CNN’s Larry King Live. Also, many major internet websites are showing articles about UFOs. Even the popular Chinese internet TV program PPStream now has a dedicated channel on UFO documentaries. I have never seen such awareness before.

We Are Not Alone

From these reports and docemuntaries, I noticed that they all blame the government for not doing anything about UFOs. Some reports say that the government secretly study UFOs because they don’t want the public to be panic. In my opinion, the majority of us already believe we are not alone in this universe, so why not publicly discuss this topic.

Do UFOs Actually Exist?

There are many sightings of UFOs in recent history. Many of them caught on photo or video. I was thinking to myself, if there are so many UFO observations by people on the ground, what about pilots in the sky? There are thousands of planes in the sky at any given moment, why pilots don’t say much about UFOs? They should be able to see them first hand. I guess they are afraid, or UFOs don’t actually exist?

Are You Producing E-waste?

Are you one of those who replace your computer every few months? Are you one of those who always want to get the latest toys? I know I am one of them. But after watching this video from Greenpeace China, I feel very ashamed.

Stop Buying New Toys

Most of your old electronic parts ship to China, where people there try every possible way to make money off those e-waste. If you have some sense of chemicals and electronics, you should know the stuff in your e-waste are extremely harmful for human health and the environment. The more often you upgrade your computer, the more e-waste you produce, which means the more people you kill.

Looking At Airplanes With A Passion

Today I stumbled upon a website called Airliners.net. It is a community of airplane pilots and enthusiasts to share airplane related information and images. The visit at airliners.net helped me revisit my long time passion for airplanes. I wanted to become a pilot when I was young, but later realized I lack everything a successful pilot needs. That didn’t destroy all my passion for airplanes, I still enjoyed watching images and videos of them. Just like at these amazing photographs on airliners.net and you will see what I mean.

Some Websites Are Complete Waste Of Time

I saw a post yesterday listing the top 10 most complete waste of time websites on the internet. I am not totally in agreement as I find some of the websites listed are somewhat informative and interesting. One website listed though,  in my opinion, is total bull shit. It is complete waste of time, but unfortunately it is one of the most popular websites in the USA.

Fact: Some Internet Users Are Really Bored

The website is 4chan.org or simply 4chan. It is an image bullitin board for those who are bored out of their minds. Most images posted are disgusting and completely bs. Information posted are mostly nonsense with language humans won’t understand. For example, visit the board’s random section known as /b/. People there rant and argue about nothing. Sometimes they seem so creepy that you will think they don’t belong in this world.

If You Are A Frequent Visitor Of 4chan, You Should See A Doctor ASAP

Upon initially visit, my impression of 4chan.org is like the dark side of the internet. However, just the /b/ board can generate as much as 10,000 posts a day. Now you can see how many people have no life at all. It is a waste of internet bandwidth. This type of websites should be banned to save of the souls of millions.

First Day of Carbon Tax in BC

Today is Canada’s birthday and the first day of Carbon Tax. The BC government placed a thing called Carbon Tax on the gas we use to fill up our cars. I think it is total bullshit. The Liberal government says the tax helps to reduce gas consumption and reduce emissions to the environment. If we have a good transit system, who needs to drive? To me, this approach will only hurt the economy and does little help to the environment. Taxing is alright if the money is used wisely. I don’t see any hopes of the Carbon tax money going to be used properly. We pay lots of taxes but look at our health care and transit services, they are a mess. Gas costs $1.52/liter this morning and this nonsense is making me angry.
